Members Helping the Club

Taking Part

As a member you do not need to do anymore than just turn up and shoot. In fact, you don’t have to join in with others [well except when hounded for membership fees]. However, without the members putting in extra effort there is no club, so we hope members will be willing to do a little bit more to help the club proser.

Committee Members

One way of helping run the club is to be a committee member and carrying out one of the formal roles described in the club rule book. These are elected every year. They put a lot of time and effort making the club a success.

Ordinary Members

Just as important to running the club are the ordinary members. You can volunteer to help on working parties, being a marshal or cook at the club shoots, or just helping the equipment officer do a few fletchings.
